Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding-Review

Bridget Jones's Diary is one of the first 'chick-lit' books and one that I personally believe will last the test of time.
The story's main focus is on the love triangle of Bridget Jones, Daniel Cleave and Mark Darcy. When she finally thinks she's in a reasonably stable relationship she uncovers a dark secret which gives her a push into the opposite direction. Introducing terms such as; 'Smug Marrieds', 'Singletons' and 'F---wittage' Bridget Jones's Diary proves to not only be comedic but intelligent and observational.
Love or hate chick-lit I challenge you to find someone who doesn't have something in common Helen Fielding's irresistible heroine Bridget Jones. This book is v.g.
