Fashion Week

Scroll down to the bottom of this article to see how to acheive these looks in an animal friendly manner

There is no denying that this years designers made a splash with their exquisite Haute Couture collections and here is Daily Button's thoughts:

John Galliano at Christian Dior wowed his audience with a whimsical vision of vibrant colours, elaborate details and dramatic silhouettes.

Karl Lagerfeld displayed an impressive line-up of structured looks in chic neutral tones for Chanel

Givenchy experimented with body hugging shapes in colours varying from beige to canary yellow

Giorgio Armani is in top form with this collection of soft tailoring and relaxed silhouettes for Armani Prive

With clever design, sweet colour choices and exquisite detailing every piece in Valentino's charming collection seems to have a personality of its own

All these looks are fabulously glamorous, but they can also be achieved in a way which is not harming animals or the environment, pay attention to the rules below...

Achieve these looks the Daily Button way:

* Neutrals are timeless as demonstrated by the above designers, invest in chic tailored clothing in black, white, beige and chocolate which when teamed with playful accessories can take you from night to day

* Don't be afraid to take risks with your fashion by experimenting with different silhouettes, details and styles

* Avoid leather, fur, silk or any animal skin or by-product when making a choice

* Instead opt for more animal friendly fabrics such as; satin, faux fur, velvet, cotton, linen etc.

*Remember; the animal needs the skin more than you do.
